Friendship's day: a day when friends
get together to celebrate their togetherness, to celebrate the tears,
laughters, joys and sorrows. Raise toasts to all those times spent
together, and for more to come.

But on a day like this
she chose to be alone. "Why?", a question pretty much unanswered. Maybe
she wanted to celebrate the friendship she had with herself, her words,
her thoughts and her solitariness. Maybe it was just that weariness
overcame her heart and made her long to spend an unaccompanied day. Or
was it just the transition she had made from being a girl drowning in
dependency to someone independent or a loner, something still not known.
She just wanted to drown in herself, be with herself, read herself and know herself.
Was this transition turning her into being an outcast?
